Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. All our animals have been spayed or neutered and up to date on all preventives and shots and we are microchipped.  Dog adoption fee is $100. She will need a fenced yard or an enclosed area. We require 2 references and one should be your vet if you currently have pets. We check to see if your current pets are up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Yes, we are picky but our all volunteer group works very hard to ensure animals under our care get the best medical treatment and lots of love so they will be your most treasured pets. After we receive your application, we will set an appointment for you to see the pup and before finalizing the adoption, we also do a home visit.  Thanks for considering a rescue.
